DuFief Yearbook Cover Art Contest

Calling all DuFief Artists!

The winner receives the honor of having their artwork featured on the front cover of the 2019-2020 DuFief yearbook. The runner up from each grade will have their artwork featured on the inside. How cool is that?! Each class will pick their top 2 artworks and then the leadership team at DuFief ES will choose the winner.

You need to have the following on your cover to be considered:

• Use copy paper not lined paper
• Vertical (portrait) orientation — not horizontal (landscape)
• Include the text DuFief Elementary (big bold letters at the top is best)
• Include the text 2019-2020
• Visually incorporate this year’s theme of “Shoot for the Stars!”
• Include your name and grade level (bottom right or left corner, small, neatly written)

Helpful Tips:

• Block letters are best
• Paints, pastels, markers, pens, colored pencils, digital art (excluding use of any copyrighted materials/images), etc. are okay, but please no collage-style artworks
• Use all of the space provided
• Avoid eraser marks
• Draw big, zoom in
• Be creative
• Be original

Your masterpiece must be turned in by Monday, February 3, 2020 by no later than 3:00 p.m. in a manila folder marked as Yearbook Cover Art.

This contest is open to every student that attends Dufief Elementary(K-5). Yearbook cover submissions will not be returned.
